Gamma-Gamma Logging (GGL)
Construction Testing Services is certified by Caltrans for California Test Method 233 (CT233), Gamma-Gamma Logging.
Gamma-Gamma Logging (GGL) is a non-destructive test used for quality assurance of CIDH piles or concrete walls.
GGL is a type of engineering inspection used to determine the homogeneity of concrete in a pile.
The test requires a probe that contains a radioactive source to indirectly determine the concrete’s homogeneity and structural integrity.
This test is an essential part of many transportation projects that have bridges, like high speed trains and highways.
