Description: Construction of the new Zeiss Innovation Center in Dublin, California is officially underway! The USA Dublin facility is already ZEISS’ largest outside Germany, and this project will produce 2 brand new buildings to make their campus even larger. The project consists of the construction of a three-story, 210,000 square foot new office and research/development building with mechanical penthouse. The 11-acre site includes a surface parking lot, preserved wetland, new landscaping and on-site and off-site improvements. Project includes core and shell, interiors construction. The building has a steel framed system, steel buckling-restrained braced frames as the lateral system on micropiles, slab on grade and concrete filled metal decks. Building exterior consists of curtain wall and metal paneling. We’re proud to provide special inspections and materials testing services on this project, ensuring that the new facilities are built per the plans and specifications.
