Water Pollution Control Plant Rehabilitation – New Admin Buildings and Process Facilities

Description: Upon completion of the WPCP Rehabilitation Project, the City of San Leandro will have the newest wastewater treatment facility in the East Bay. The Project is the most challenging and largest project in the history of San Leandro and will allow the City to provide wastewater treatment for the community well into the foreseeable future. The Engineering Department is proud to be leading the project and serving the community in this capacity. The Water Pollution Control Division is responsible for the regulation, collection, treatment and disposal of wastewater from all residential and commercial sources within the City’s sewer service area. CTS provided special inspections and materials testing services for the Water Pollution Control Plant Rehabilitation project. CTS performed onsite testing, offsite testing, and laboratory testing of concrete, masonry, epoxy bolts, and steel.
