Description: In 2009, luxury jewelry and fashion retailer Bulgari moved into a new retail space at One Union Square in San Francisco. Originally constructed two decades ago, the building underwent a major reconstruction to house a single tenant while maintaining multiple street entrances. Each entrance has been redesigned to flow smoothly to the main shopping level, providing an unparalleled shopping experience in this flagship store. Many of the store’s finishes were fabricated in Europe, which required an incredible amount of coordination and logistics. In record time, the unique ultra-clear glass elevator and shaft were designed, engineered, drawn, fabricated, installed and tested in nine months.
