Inspector Opportunities
CTS is a leader in the field of special inspections and material testing services in California and Nevada. Our inspections team plays a vital role in our success and we are always looking for inspectors who are hardworking, problem solvers, professional and team players.
Minimum Requirements/Expectations
• Valid certifications – ACI, AWS, Caltrans, DSA, Hazmat, ICC, US Army Corps CQM, etc.
• Valid CA or NV drivers license
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of state and local building codes
• Ability to read project plans and specifications, keep records and understand basic industry terminology
• Must comply with all occupational health and safety standards
• All inspectors and technicians must be members of Operating Engineers Local Union 3 or 12

Engineer
Review soil and lab test results, Review concrete and compression test results, Review & prepare typed engineering reports, Review weekly field summary reports from inspectors, Weekly review of field and laboratory technicians, Reviewing structural concrete mix design submittals, Review project close out for final affidavit letters, Perform verification checks and calibration for field laboratory test equipment, Maintain documentation records for verification checks and calibrations performed, Implement procedures and guidelines of the CTS Quality System Manual.
Project Manager
Manage Projects, Review Monthly Invoices, Attend meetings for assigned projects, Review and understand contract terms and conditions, Prepare monthly budgets and review with clients, Attend to and review client requests, Prepare Change Order requests, Accounts Receivable reviews and follow up with Clients.
Administrator
Perform general administrative duties, Perform administrative duties related to accounts payable, Perform administrative duties related to reporting, Assist with invoicing and billing, Answer phones and greet visitors, Support the sales and marketing team’s internal proposal and job number processes, Schedule internal meetings and maintain calendars, Collect and create folders for new projects, Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings, Collate and distribute mail, Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
Laboratory Technician
Entry Level Lab Assistance, Assist with prep work for conducting lab testing, Maintain a clean lab, Able to lift 15lbs or more, Good communication skills, Ability to work in a team, ability to work with heavy machinery.
