Amador Valley High School Solar Array and Parking Lot Reconfiguration
Pleasanton, CA
Description: We worked with the Pleasanton Unified School District on the main Amador Valley parking lot, which reopened in October 2019. The new parking lot layout features 400 spaces with new painting/striping, crosswalks and new solar panels. PUSD anticipates saving about $1.8M in energy costs over the course of 25 years and the panels will also provide coverage for the vehicles, reducing the District’s carbon footprint. CTS was hired by the District to provide concrete sampling and testing, rebar sample and tag, batch plant inspections and welding (field and shop) and drilled pier inspections. CTS finished this project under budget for the District.
